Who should book here — and who should keep looking

Great fit

Families with kids of any age. The amenities here are genuinely exceptional — heated pool, swimming and fishing ponds, bounce pillow, organized activities, playgrounds. Parents consistently say kids are entertained all day and they can actually relax. This is rare.

Great fit

RV owners in motorhomes, fifth wheels, or travel trailers. Full hookups with 30/50 amp service, pull-through and back-in options, mostly gravel pads. 68 RV Life reviewers rate this a 9.6 out of 10 — that's one of the highest scores you'll find anywhere in the region.

Great fit

Anyone who values cleanliness above almost everything else. "Cleanest campground I've ever stayed at" comes up repeatedly — not from one reviewer but from dozens. The grounds, bathrooms, and facilities are maintained to a standard most campgrounds don't come close to.

Great fit

Repeat visitors and seasonal campers. Guests come back year after year — some for 17+ years. The owners know returning guests by name. If you're looking for a place that feels like a second home rather than just a campground, the reviews suggest this delivers that.

⚠️
Consider carefully

Privacy seekers and large rig owners wanting maximum spacing. Some sites are close together — particularly in busier loops. This comes up enough in reviews to be worth knowing before you book. Newer loops tend to have more generous spacing. Ask specifically about site spacing when you book and request a site that fits your needs.

⚠️
Consider carefully

Campers focused on remote or nature-immersive experiences. Breezy Hill is an amenity-rich, activity-forward campground. If you want quiet wilderness and minimal activity, you may find it busier and more family-oriented than you're looking for — especially on weekends.

The real experience — straight from people who stayed there

🏕️
The Sites

Mostly gravel pads with some grass. Mix of pull-through and back-in. Full hookups with 20/30/50 amp at most sites — water and sewer included. Newer loops tend to be more spacious. Some sites have slight water pressure variation — a pressure regulator is worth bringing if you're sensitive to that.

We stayed in pull-through site #77 which was huge, had a clean gravel drive and pad.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
The Staff & Owners

Family-owned and operated. Owners are on-site and hands-on. Guests consistently mention feeling recognized and remembered — even after a year away. This is not a corporate-managed property. Multiple reviews specifically mention staff going above and beyond in ways that stand out.

Staff goes above and beyond. It is a true family-owned and operated business — I will pay more to keep places like this alive.

🏊
Activities & Amenities

Heated pool, swimming pond, fishing pond, huge playground, bounce pillow, game nights, horse rides, dog park, food truck on weekends, organized activity schedule. Weekend guests can get cinnamon rolls delivered to their site. There is genuinely a lot to do here for every age group.

A wonderland for kids — allows parents to actually unwind knowing kids are in a safe environment.

🧹
Cleanliness

This comes up in almost every review unprompted. Bathrooms, common areas, and grounds are maintained at a level that repeatedly surprises guests. If cleanliness is a priority — and for most campers it is — this campground delivers consistently.

Cleanest campground, friendliest service, my family's favorite campground. 17 years going there and they are always improving.

One thing worth knowing

Site spacing varies — ask before you confirm

A consistent thread across reviews mentions that some sites feel closer together than expected — particularly for guests arriving with larger rigs or those hoping for more separation from neighbors. This doesn't mean the campground is crowded or uncomfortable — many guests say it didn't feel crowded at all. But if privacy or maximum spacing is important to your trip, it's worth calling ahead and specifically requesting a site in a newer loop or asking which sites have the most space. Being specific when you book will almost certainly get you what you need.

Are You a Campground Owner or Manager?

We can help you show guests exactly what they are booking — before they arrive

One of the most consistent patterns we find across campground reviews: guests book without ever seeing their actual site. No photo of site 47. No photo of the hookup. No sense of spacing or shade. Guests arrive and discover what they booked — sometimes pleasantly, sometimes not. We work with campground owners to change that. Professional site photography, drone coverage, monthly guest intelligence reports, and content that gives guests confidence before they book — so they arrive knowing exactly what to expect and ready to enjoy it.
